ANTIQUE MOUSE PAD

Is that an oxymoron?

Antique and Mouse pad?

Well not really.  I have been searching for a new mouse pad for my new office.  I am just not into the "dog" or "cat" thing and I wanted something decorative but something that screamed- well ME!

so...

A couple of days ago, 

I was cutting apart blocks of an old tattered and worn out quilt- it was really into pieces and I thought I could salvage some of the wonderful hand quilted flowers (you quilters prob. know what the real terminology is for the "flowers")  As I was cutting and wondering what I could use them for..... 

BLINK BLINK BLINK.... 

the light bulb went off.
