AMATEURISH UPHOLSTERY MASTERY

The sewing machine my husband bought me when we were first married
has been dying a very slow death for a number of years.
Too OLD to repair[if you catch my drift.]
Last year for Christmas my children banned together to purchase me a new one.
I love it!!
It's just the perfect middle of the line, great for
small projects and mending machine.
Little did I know there was an
ulterior motive to the gift.

Wa-la. The SMITH'S new stylish couch recovered in my favorite [very expensive] material. What a project! Not only did we have to take the couch apart, resection and re-pad the cushions, we had to make our own pattern.
(thank goodness for hgtv!)
Unfortunately no before pictures of the
Clay pot orange, tattered, soiled, and torn ugliness that turned out to be
this gorgeous, 7 ft long sectional that looks perfectly awesome
in their granny SMITH green family room.
Love ya Kelsey, It was fun spending time with you.
Can't wait to finish up the dining room chairs!

♥♥♥ p/s have your fingers recoverd from all the pinning and hand sewing? ♥♥♥
