Mind the Gap!

Once you arrive at Paddington Station in London, you will hear this lovely womans voice sweetly repeating over and over again, "Mind the Gap". Not until you actually step onto the train will you really understand the meaning. It is spelled out before your very own eyes. There is a "gap" between the walkway and the train, but instead of using the American term "Watch your step" the Brits say "Mind the Gap"!
